Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): YES
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): YES

I want to find out how to force defrost a Kitchenaid KTRS22KGWH00 refrigerator.

Thanks for showing me this but how did you come to know that the whirlpool ET22RKXGW01 was the same as the one I was looking for? The cross referencing of model numbers for different brands is a mystery to me.

Kitchenaid is made by Whirlpool (same with Maytag), so all the tech lit for them comes from the same site. We can use that site to look up info, get the publication number, and then search using that to see if the doc is already on Appliantology.

If you're ever able to find out the publication number of the tech sheet you're looking for, you can always search Appliantology for that file. But if not, we're happy to find it for you -- that's what the Manual Requests forum is for!

So you have access to all the cross referencing information that other don't. That's fine with me, I just kind of wanted to understand a little better because it gets confusing as to which appliances are actually the same but just under different brand and model numbers. Thanks for you help.

Not necessarily -- with a bit of research, you can often find out the publication number of the tech sheet for a particular model. Publicly accessible sites like Appliancepartspros.com and Searspartsdirect.com have the parts lists for many models, and those parts lists often have the part number of the tech sheet. That's the publication number for the doc which you can use for finding it at Appliantology.

Thanks for the info. It’s much appreciated.
