Fridge won't start unless adjusting temp

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi there,

Frigidaire Fridge won't start by itself. But when I change the temp setting to cooler setting then the compressor start working.

Symptoms of the issue: the freezer section wasn't cooling enough. The ice cream was soft in the freezer part.

On temp reading it was around 20 F.

There is no ice build up on the coils.

I appreciate any advice on where to look and what to check.

Thanks

To properly assist you, we're gonna need mor info. Let's start with the model number. Then we can get a better idea on possible causes.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see this was a second post. I see someone answered your first post with model number included.
