No COLD Water

Model Number: 592-49006
Brand: Se arsKenmore
Age: 6-10 years

Hi. First timer here. I can't get my washing machine to do a cold water wash. Even set on Cold/Cold the water enters hot. I replaced the water inlet valve (see image) on the hot water side but this did not correct the problem. Other than no cold water, the machine works fine. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. I don’t believe that’s a complete model number.

Also I don’t understand this...

Did you check supply lines to ensure cold goes to cold and hot to hot?

From the looks of the part model should begin with 795. Most modern washer fill using temperatures, both cold and hot will pulse on and off. One exception maybe cold rinse.
