Kenmore 20902 Top Load Troubleshoot Power Issue

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi,

I have a Kenmore 20902 Top Load machine that stopped working prior to the spin cycle and now will not power on. The lid safety button has been disabled.

When I removed the clothes, the basket had water in it leading me to believe the unit did not spin. (BTW, I recently replaced the motor coupler to correct the spin issue I had a few weeks ago). I have reset the breaker and verified power to the machine. I have also checked for fuses but cannot seem to locate a fuse inside the control panel. The machine will fill with water, but none of the other functions work on the control panel.

I appreciate the help,

Shannon
