lfxs28566s LG fridge - Water Hose Question

Recommended Posts

Hi. We boght at Lows an lg lfxs28566s refrigerator that had previously been returned. Yesterday I was removing the doors when I noticed that a water hose that comes from the door attaches to another hose that runs all the way to the back of the fridge. At the joint of both hoses, there is what appears to be masking tape around it. I called Lows and they told me that was how it should be, but I do not know if a connector is missing there.

Thank you very much for your help.

Got a picture of the tape and where it is?

Water hoses are joined with special plastic push on connectors. If you have hoses that are just stuck together with tape, that's not right.
