WTW7500GW0 - Squeaking during initial fill/spin cycle

Recommended Posts

Hi all - first post here. My Whirlpool washer is about 1.5 years old. It recently started making this loud squeaking noise while filling up/spinning. After some reading, I thought it might be too high water pressure (we are on city water and it does have high pressure). I replaced water main shutoff valve and pressure reducing valve as they were original to the 1980 build house, so they needed to go.

I have attached a video. I am guessing it is bearings as after it is done with the initial agitation, it still fills with water and does not make the noise. But once it starts the main cycle, it does not make the noise either. Only on the initial fill/agitate cycle.

Not positive that is the correct model number (WTW8500DW) but I am at work and not near the washer.

Any help greatly appreciated.
