Samsung gas range with no spark from one burner

Recommended Posts

I had no spark at only one of five burners on my Samsung gas range Model NX58K9850SS/AA.  Today I replaced the spark electrode, but still no spark at that burner.  Could it be the spark module (even though four of five burners have a bright spark) or is it the switch ignition assembly?  If so, how do I remove the front panel so I can replace the switch ignition assembly?

Did you get any help with this?

Do you get a spark at that burner when lighting any of the other burners?

I'll add one more thing....

Assuming yours is a 120v range, I suggest checking the power cord and be sure it's installed in the proper polarity.  If the incoming LINE and NEUTRAL wires are reversed, some electronic controls in your range may not function correctly.

AHH!  That was meant to be a reply to a different thread!
