Whirlpool Refrigerator restarting regularly

The model is WRX988SIBM01 for a french door Whirlpool Gold that is about 5 years old. It started doing the start-up chimes every 10-30 minutes. I'm afraid it might be the control board but I'd like to diagnose the issue before spending money on a part that might not fix it.

No resolution seen here. I’m dealing with a problem the same as stated above. Can anyone fill me in. I don’t see any obvious problem with the fridge.

Voltages mentioned above were all good.

Looks like this has a pantry drawer. Unplug the refrig then find where the controls for the pantry drawer are plugged in. Unplug that connector and plug refrig back in to outlet. If something got spilled on those controls it can cause problems.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will try that when I go back. Any others out there?

Update: so when I went back the refrigerator was still doing the same thing. I did unplug the pantry drawer connector but it didn’t make a difference. The first time I went out I ran through all tests in the diagnostic menu to no avail. This time when I ran through the tests the refrigerator seemed to want to reboot itself every time I would get to the freezer evap fan test. I investigated the freezer evap fan and found nothing wrong. I did however unplug the connector and made sure it was reconnected securely. After getting everything back together I sat with the refrigerator for more than 30 minutes and it did not reboot. I asked the customer to call me if it happened again, that was a few days ago, and he has not called. Here’s hoping that was it.
