LG lre3023st Oven not warming up.

LG lre3023st :

Oven, Broiler and  Conv Bake not working at all.

When I turn the oven on, I only hear a humming sound similar to a fan, that is supposed to happen only with Conv Oven setting.

I also hear one fainted click after about 2 minutes (relay?), after 5 minutes I get an error.

All cooking burners are working and the display is also working fine, I do not know how to use a multi-meter tester.

Please advice the steps to follow to find out which part is falling, I have been trying to find the Service MAnual with no luck.

Thanks.

It's pretty difficult to help you with this with such limited info. Is it gas, electric? Also if you don't have a multimeter I don't know what to tell you to do.

If its gas their should be a glow bar igniter for the bake and the broil. If they are not glowing (both of them) then it's probably because the board is not giving power, but their could be multiple reasons, like bad motherboard, a thermal fuse kicked open...etc. If you had a multimeter with an amp clamp I could tell you to take an amp reading around one of the wires to the igniter as generally it should be above 2.7amps to light (new they are around 3.3 amps). Or if you had no draw, to check voltage going to the igniter to see if when you asked for the bake, if it sent 120v to the igniter, or you could check the ohms on the igniter to at least make sure it wasn't open. If it's gas you could also have a bad gas solenoid (called a saftey valve).

If it's electric then you should be able to take a voltage reading across the two hots of 240v, and work your way up till you find where you are not getting voltage, or again take a ohm reading of the element (most are around 10ohms), to simply make sure it isn't an open circuit.

In general though, the only other thing you can do is visually inspect everything. I would de-energize the unit, get to the control board, take pictures of where you took out what screws etc, and visually inspect the board and take careful notice of the relay on the bake.
