Manufacturer: GE
Type of Appliance: Dishwasher
Model Number: Gdt655ssjss
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): No
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

GE dishwasher not draining, the repair clinic website says no results and the customer could not locate the number on the unit itself so she read me the number  from her service manual

I think that's most likely what it is. If so, this mini manual applies:

Is there voltage at the pump when it's not draining?

I haven't gone out there yet just trying to do a little pre diagnostic

Bring the drain pump kit. It's a little tiny pump and fails frequently.

If the whole thing is dead, check the bulletin for the CSM and heater ( DD02-18 ).

There's a problem on that model (and a bunch of others) where a leaky heater will trip the CSM and kill everything.
