none of the buttons are responsive, and only the normal wash and heated dry blink with a beep. I tested the microswitches and they were good. the latch looks intact also

Next I pushed the plunger and bingo, I heard the motor come on for a few seconds, but then, just the blinking lights again. what should I look at next to fix this thing?
