Maytag Cabrio Washer WTW5640XW0

Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeecccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It sounds like my washer is metal on metal while agitating.  Been doing this for a week or 2 and I can't believe it's still running.

I've researched a little but have no idea what's going on.  For the record: We do have a boatload of pet hair in this house.

Maybe the pully?

thread never approved...but I got it fixed.

pulley wheel came slightly loose and was cutting into the cover.

Tightened the bolt and it seems to work now.

@CMDconFan You should get some blue Loctite and remove the pulley nut put some Loctite on the threads and reinstall so that it doesn't come loose again.

And also need to make sure the belt didn't walk down on motor pulley and burn the lower rim off.
