Dryer Still Squeaks

Maytag Neptune Dryer.  Replaced bearings, nylon rollers, belt.  Worked quietly for about 3 months, now starting to squeak again. Not overloaded, normal amount of clothes.  Intermittent, not constant.

Help.

If you used Amazon or aftermarket parts, they’re likely worn out again

Possible motor failure.

Replace idler pulley?

Need to investigate where the squeak is coming from. Is it coming from one or more of the replaced parts? Or is it coming from a panel where a screw is coming loose?

Yes try and investigate where the squeak is coming from. I had one of these Neptune’s squeaking and it was simply the exhaust vent rubbing in one spot creating metal on metal contact. Vent the metal a little to prevent contact and the problem was solved.

ive actually had the drum "fin" squeek, after a bearing job. went back to tighten a screw on the fin and the squeek went away. This is the kind of job where your going to need to take your time and locate the source of the squeek in person, and repair accordingly.

Just FYI. Those Fins are actually baffles.
