Repairing a whirlpoo 6gx0fhdxxy0 french door fridge for a friend. The problem is when a fridge door is open, the compressor works ok. If closed the door, compressor and condenser fan both stopped. I did the 6 step diagnose test all look ok. Is that possible door switch fault?

Just a wild guess. When door is open no power goes to evaporator fan. Maybe that fan motor is bad. I’d disconnect fan motor from board and see if compressor runs with door the closed then. 
 

I don’t have tech sheet for this unit...

16345ED Thanks for reply. The evaporater fan keeps running all the time. I doubt the Jazz board got something wrong but cannot confirm it.
