We have a whirlpool LXR7133JQ0 washer that we mainly use for washing rags and shoes.  It has stopped agitating.  It still drains and spins.  I can hear a slight hum from under the tub.  This model does not have dogs to replace, the agitator is one piece and sits over the spline.  I checked the drive coupler and it’s okay.  I wasn’t sure that a bad coupler could make it spin but not agitate, but it was easy to check so why not?  I’m hoping it’s not the gearcase but what do you all think?

yours is a little tricky to diagnose , start by unclipping  the pump from the motor and see if it agitates then, it can't be the coupling if it's spinning, next would be the wiring harness where it hooks to the motor.  i'm assuming the motor is not running
