GE Oven PB975SP1SS top oven doesnt hold temperature

I got a GE Profile 30 model PB975SP1SS and the top oven is not functioning right, only the bottom one. It won't hold temperature, itll just keep getting hotter and hotter. The heating element on the top oven stays on regardless of what temperature you set. We tried to swap the temperature sensors and connectors between the top and bottom ovens. We also tested for continuity at the oven temperature sensors and the continuity is 1145 ohms on both sensors (at room temp) and the element itself which is good, but the top oven still wont hold temperature, just keep getting hotter and hotter till the unit shuts down. The bottom oven works completely fine. Any ideas?

You'll need an oven thermometer to check the temperature sensors correctly. The sensors may read properly at room temperature but go out of spec as the oven gets hotter, so you'll need to check them at full temp. Compare the Temp sensor chart to the sensor's resistance readings and the oven thermometer to make sure the temp sensor is functioning properly. I would also look at the control board for a stuck broil relay if the temp sensors ohm out properly.

Sounds a lot like welded closed relay on main board or power board depending on design.
