Bosch SHE56C06UC/46 dishwasher not draining normally

This is about 10 years old and still washes fine. Completes the cycle and dishes are sanitized. The problem is that I usually need to initiate a drain cycle (restart and cancel) after the end of the clean cycle to drain the basin. The drain pump is not impeded. Everything in the sump is clean and nothing is impeding the impeller. The impeller moves normally (magnetic alignment notchiness is all). I have removed and replaced the pump and see nothing untoward. There are no leaks. The check valve and drain hose and connection to the disposer are all fine. As I said, when I cancel it drains fine. It just will not drain as part of the normal cycle. I have looked at the error codes and the only one present is E6. Due to this, I replaced the turbidity sensor a couple of weeks ago. No change in the drain function as part of the cycle.

Is this a control board problem? Any other possibilities?

Well, I thought it might be a leaky anti-return valve, so I bought a new one and get the same result. I have watched this more closely and note that after the cycle finishes, the drain runs and it does drain out all the water to below the screen. It is later that it fills up. I have re-routed the drain tube to ensure that it loops 'up above' the connection to the disposer. It goes tangent to the countertop just underneath it then loops down to the disposer. I would think this may act as a siphon of sorts... I am not using an air gap. It seems pretty simple that the water is running back into the basin from the drain hose, but how and where is it coming from? Can the hose contain that much water even after a drain event?

I think I may have figured it out. I turned off the water to teh machine yesterday and got no water inside the basin after 8+ hours. Pretty sure it is the inlet valve. Should be here tomorrow and hopefully, this solves it and I can close this out.

No more water in the basin. The solenoid valve was leaking slowly and filling the basin over time.

Nice job!

In many cases the dishwasher will stop draining or draining fully due to a clogged drainage hoses or due to an object caught in the draining pump. There are some cases when the draining pump is faulty and needs to be replaced. We have assembled the top issues to check for a dishwasher that does not drain.

Drain Pump: The drain pump pushes water through the drain hose. If the drain pump motor is malfunctioning the dishwasher will not drain. Drain pumps can be checked with a multimeter. If there is no continuity then it must be replaced with a new part.
Drain / Wash Impeller: The drain impeller or wash impeller is connected to the drain pump. It allows water to flow through to the garbage disposal or drain line. If it is broken it needs to be replaced with a new part.
