Hello, new to the group. I’m working on a Silver King milk cooler, replaced compressor due to warranty issue. I got compressor changed out ok, evacuated system and charged with 5 3/4 oz of 134a (compressor is 1/10 hp 120v). I’m wondering if I have an overcharged system (possibly need to calibrate my scale). Problem I’m having is when the thermostat cuts in, my system isn’t quite equalized and the overload on start relay opens. At first I thought I possibly had a bad thermostat not allowing enough differential but after trying a few used T-stats lying around I’m finding myself second guessing. Any helpful advise is much appreciated...thank you
