Over the Range Microwave Oven Door Switch

We have a Sharp Carousel Over the Range Microwave oven--model number R1381 * Serial number 115213. If you lift up on the door/door handle, the inside light comes on and the fan motor turns. This occurred a year ago and we called a repairman who took the appliance away and adjusted the door switches. Now that I'm a Live Help member, can get help so I can fix this myself? Steve/Porterville, CA

Switches do not normally need re-adjustments,

may be bad Latch Hook (Switch Holder)  PHOK-B017MRF0  about $13
