Manufacturer: Whirlpool
Type of Appliance: Clothes Dryer
Model Number: 110.68652700
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): Yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

Customer the dryer would not. I showed, tested the necessary components from power cord to door switch. Everything tested out fine. Fuses were intact. I plugged in selected the airdry on the timer, the dryer fired up. I made a different selection, dryer fired up. I came back again to the airdry selection; no start. The time contacts all have connectivity except T-W on the schematics. The timer continues to behave erratically, runs one selection this time but not on the same selection another time. ...

...and I found a resistor jumped at the back of the temperature selector switch. I'm not sure the significance of its presence or who put it there.
