Bosch Model # b20cs81sns/02 Icemaker

The ice maker seems to be putting too much water into the tray. It freezes up in a solid chunk and only part of it will empty, then when it refills water splashes off of the ice that is still there and freezes in the catch box. I have located a  new ice maker at Repair Clinic but I would like to make sure that will fix the problem or that I can't fix this one first. I tried turning down the water pressure but that didn't help. I'm not an appliance tech, just a home owner with good mechanical skills.

Thanks.

call bosch a with all the model and serial #'s you have for the fridge.  Order the Ice Maker Part # they say will definately be the replacement Ice Maker for your model.  replacing the Ice Maker with a new one will most likely fix the issue but couldnt say for sure with out actually diagnostically checking your fridge.  Good Luck ok

Since I've been thinking about it I'm wondering if could be the Water Inlet Valve.
