Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): no
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

Unable to validate the model for a reportedly Kenmore Top loader SM9710804-A per customer.

Repair Clinic does not have it, and Sears does not have it either. In a bizarre twist. Appliance Parts Pro listed the parts as dryer parts.

I am yet to see the unit, just reporting a secondary information from customer.

Looks more like the serial number.
