I was having problems with my old frigidaire dishwasher model # fdr252rbs2. Once it was done with washing the dishes. There is still some water left in the bottom and its not draining properly. I thought I'll remove the whole assembly of housing on top of motor and pump to clean any stuff that is blocking the drain outlet. I was able to remove all the top parts till the lower drain impeller (part # 154365401). Its no.12 in the diagram provided on page 8.
I have no idea how to remove that so I can remove the pump housing (no. 14).

Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Page 8 of what?

Before doing all of that, did you check the drain hose for blockage?  Disconnect the hose from the T fitting under your sink, then look inside the hose-end for any debris buildup.

The page 8 was of factory parts catalog, that I put the link in my previous post but i guess the forum rules didn't permit that to appear.

Coming to your advice, i tried to clear the line with some baking soda and vinegar and it did work out pretty well.

So I really appreciate your advice.

Thank you so much.
