GE GTS22KHPARBB Warm Fridge - here's what I've tried so far!

I have a GE Top Freezer/refrigerator GTS22KHPARBB
The refrigerator is around 50 degrees F. Freezer is -4F.
I cleaned out all the dust in the bottom.
I removed the back of the freezer and nothing was blocked.
I checked and the evaporator and condenser fans are running.
I replaced the Temperature Control Thermostat. No change.
Someone recommended I replace the Thermistor on the condenser coils - but for the life of me, I can't find it!
I replaced the Defrost temperature sensor and Defrost heater (I broke it when I was looking for the thermistor I never found - oops!).
Help! Or help me find the thermistor? (My gut feel is they eliminated the sensor when they changed from a control board to a Temperature Control Thermostat - but left it in the drawings?)

Opposite  they added thermistors when they added electronic control.

I replaced

Control Temperature AP3203796

Defrost Thermostat  AP3190397

Defrost Heater: AP2639820

I have a Thermistor (AP3185407) in my possession - But I can't find it to replace it.

3 seconds into this video - there is a white thing that looks like it - but it appears to have a thick yellow wire and an orange wire coming in one end and a thin yellow wire coming out the other.  And the indication is that the Thermistor should be nestled against the evaporator tubing.

There appears to be one in freezer too. Look for same type of cover.

Master samurai covers this  in a post.  The yellow one appears to be for a 2nd defrost thermostat. look at this post to understand

There is probably a 2nd orange wire that has been cut out along with the cut yellow wire and both should be terminated properly not just cut.

Not seeing one in the fresh food compartment...

Here I have the water filtration system lowered, but I don't see a temperature sensor +/or cover anywhere.

I don't have access to that page.  I'm just a lowly DIY-er....

The evaporator fan motor sounds like it is constantly running (except when defrosting) - and the refrigerator remains at 50°.

Is it possible that the evaporator fan is slow or just wimpy?

Again - not finding any thermistors in this model.

This model has the timer and temperature control without extra thermistors - maybe it preceded the thermistors?  Anyway - I discovered that the evaporator fan was sitting too high on the shaft.  I pushed it down maybe a centimeter+ and the fridge temp is now 40° - but in order to achieve that, I have the freezer set on 1 (all this does is open the 'damper wheel' all the way) and the fridge set on 9 (this feeds into the temperature control unit.

How do I test that the temperature control unit is working properly - either installed or not (I have one that I removed that I'd like to test without reinstalling - and I'd like to test the installed one as well!
