My wife and I just purchased a used mobile home (2017 model with a build date in November if that makes a difference) and we have a Frigidaire dishwasher with it.

I have a couple questions...  First, a couple of days ago, I had to open the door in mid cycle and didn't see any water in the bottom of the tub. Is this normal for this model? The dishes seem to be getting clean but on the other dishwashers we have had, you could always see at least a couple gallons of water in the bottom if you needed to open the door in the middle of the cycle.

The second question I have is, how the hell do you adjust the door springs on this model?? I have found instructions for every other brand and model out there, but not this one for some reason. When you open the door on this one the door stops at about a 45 degree angle and you have to actually push it down to get it to lay flat so you can pull out the bottom rack.

Thanks for reading!

Depends what part of the cycle you open the door in. It may have just drained prior to rinse cycle.

Youll need to pull unit and inspect hinges and linkage system.

These Frigidaire dishwasher don't use a lot of water even when full - never even up to the float, (the float is just a safety shutoff so that water doesn't overflow if there is a no drain situation).

When water is finished filling open the door and the water should be just barely up to the metal feet that support the heating element.   Only one arm at a time is supplied water in these units, they alternate from bottom spray arm to top.

If you ever replace the water inlet valve on these dishwashers you have to use the OEM specified valve because they have a flow washer in the valve to make sure the 90 seconds of fill time meters the correct amount of water to the dishwasher.
