mvwc425bw1 Maytag Centennial washer repeats cycles/won't stay off

Good morning.

This machine completes all the cycles until the "Done" LED is lit.  I've tried it on several cycles to completion.

After a short span of time it switches to the beginning all the cycling begin sensing again. one night and ran all night from 10 p.m. when I started awash until I checked it 6 a.m. in the morning.

Another behavior is after unplugging it and leave it unplugged for several minutes when I plug it in it will kick right into sensing and begin whatever cycle the selector is set on.

Just recently it had the motor replaced oh, the transmission, clutch and shift actuator all replaced.

And, I have calibrated it several times.

The error codes are only telling me speed sensor, which has been changed, and a lid switch error which the lid switch is operating.

any ideas what's going on or how I can track down the problem? Thank you in advance.

Unit is in continuos run mode, it's a glitch in the software, there is a way to remove it from that but I can not remember at this time

Is this thread the remedy you are telling me about?

@Aaronb11 Yes, that should be the info you need to get the washer out of continuous run mode.

That would cost more than a new washer?

I don't think so.  The gearcase was the most expensive at $110, picked it up on eBay.  The clutch assembly was, I think, $40 and the shift actuator, I think was about $40.  I misspoke about the motor, it was reinstalled.
