Im working on a Frigidaire french door, The fridge compartment was warm but freezer is fine. I assumed defrost issue. After removing the back panel it was indeed a defrost issue, evap fan. heater and bimetal checked out fine and when i activated forced defrost the heater did come on. Im assuming at this point that its the main control board that has failed and needs to be replaced.

Didn’t see one listed for this model. FGHG2344MF4

Yup, only freezer, fresh food and ambient thermistor show in wiring diagram. Think with this model the diag mode show temps for the thermistor in steps 29, 30, 33 and if they match actual temps looks like your left with it being the board.

Replaced the control and issue still ongoing. Forced defrost works. Heard there was an issue with fan motor shorting out boards. Anyone have any ideas?

For these Frigidaire French door models I've changed a lot of defrost thermostats and never boards for defrosting issues. These thermostats can work intermittently and fail under load. Part number: 242046001
