Hello all new here. I have a GE GTW330ASK0WW washing machine with a spin problem. Or rather a not spinning problem. It has had this issue for about a year. It is about seven years old. At random times it will fail to spin the load at the final spin cycle. It goes through the process of filling and redistributing the load three times but then gives up. Again, this is a random thing with no pattern or common circumstances that I can detect. I can go to service mode and spin fine and the load is not out of balance. I have replaced the following after recommendations from others: main PCB, lid lock assy., all 4 suspension rods. It still does it at random. The only fault codes stored are 4 and 14. 4 is for a reset monitor occurrence and 14 is lid lock fault. I replaced the lock/switch assy. and have verified continuity of the lid lock harness. Has anyone else dealt with this and if so what was the cause? Possibly a software upgrade?

I'm getting reset monitor error 4

Checked connections and reset

Not sure how to proceed. It's now flashing error 4 on every section of error code

Check your belt . If it is slick or has any oil on it , it will not turn that tub with a load in it. Thats why in diagnostics it will spin (empty basket) but fail when you do a load because of the weight . If you see oil , search for the cause of the oil. I'v gone on plenty of these with the same symptoms and the belt has become the first thing i check with this model . lol i keep tons in stock cause i've noticed a nice pattern.

What are the symptoms and problems you are having with the unit

That's the thing!

I sold this washer to a gent a year ago. He called me up and said it was a no drain issue.

Tested and checked it. Can't replicate the problem.. only thing I'm getting is the 4 error code.

I'm 90% sure I installed a new lid switch on this before selling. Which I believe takes care of all the computer issues this model has.

So when I run diagnostics it comes up with that code and that code only. And it's be nice to know what it means besides check the connections at the board and make sure 120v is coming from the plug (both are true)
