This dryer just keeps over heating regardless of what I do.

1. changed all the thermostats

2.  cleared any sign of lint

3. The thermal fuse blew and I replaced that

4.  replaced door switch do to intermittent failure

Check for vent restrictions. Remove the lint screen housing to clean housing and blower wheel.. Check element for sagging and touching the case.

I cleaned all the lint inside the dryer, and vent to outside.I put a new element in.

Should have indicated this in original post. You have replaced all thermostats, cleaned the entire dryer and venting system.  If it is still overheating you have some kind of airflow issue. Your down to drum seals leaking or you missed something.

could it be the timer? I get voltage to the timer motor, during heater on. I'll look at seals.

Nope. timer supplies power to the motor, heating element. Thermostats control temps.

Blower wheel is basically a fan blade - they get clogged with lint or break.  Drum seals are felt glued to the edge of the drum they wear out or come loose.

@16345Ed ask about running water through the lint screen on another post. So that reminded me does the lint screen have gray color and hard to see through? The test is hold the lint screen flat and run water through it. Water will run through when on and will collect when you turn it off just like it was a pan if it has a build up of fabric softner.  Fix for that is easy use dish soap, soft brush to gently scrub clean and rinse with hot water.
