Water in the door works. Replace the ice maker same problem. Check water valve working fine bypass water valve got water to ice maker. Only thing I can come up with is the motherboard? Any help out there?

Your model number didn’t show up as a valid number.

If SXS could be broken wire in harness at bottom of door.

You must have 10 degrees or lower in the freezer before the ice maker will run and harvest on it's own.

Did you force cycle the ice maker with a jumper wire and does it run?

If it does run when you jump it,  board is not the problem.

Yes I bypass the ice maker it ran through a cycle but did not give me water the fill valve I bypassed and it sent water to the ice maker. So I'm going to check a wiring at the bottom of the freezer door. I don't know what else you could be.

I don't believe this is the model @16345Ed is speaking of. That one has the icemaker in the freezer door.

Can you explain what you did there?

Ouch. Then inspect carefully the wiring at the bottom of the door. Wire breaks may be hidden under the covering.

That or you will need some long ass VOM leads to make continuity checks from the icemaker to the back of the box.

Good luck with that Jack.

The water in the door works so what I did was jump the connection to  the solenoid for the water in the door to the ice maker solenoid and then hit the water in the door which opened up the solenoid for the ice maker and put water in the ice maker so I know that's all good

+1 for wires at bottom of door. Remove the hard plastic sleeve. The wire break inside the insulation usually where the hard plastic tube had a kink spot. Soldering and shrink tube for repairs.

Good call my friends found ground wire broken and brown wire from ice maker broken repaired both working like a charm. It was tight but I got her done!
