Whirlpool Gold Series Dishwasher wdf540padm2 Fills and Drains, but Never Washes

Just moved into a 2 year old house that the owner barely even lived in and the dishwasher just fills and then drains. The arms never spin. I ran the diagnostic by pushing the buttons 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3. All the lights lit up and then it does a few things for about 10 minutes and then nothing. Any ideas? Thanks!

First, it's good to verify if you have voltage available at the motor. That is something you can check from the board. After that, the most common issue for this type of unit is a complete sump and motor replacement. WPW10605059. Depending on the install, you can do it without pulling the unit out. Be sure to disconnect power and drain the water carefully out of the drain hose where it attaches to the sump. Not a hard repair.

Really appreciate the help. Might you kindly provide steps to test it?

There should be a tech document behind the access panel down at the bottom. It outlines everything you will want to do better than I can here. Be sure to put the pages back where you found them. For the actual motor replacement,  repairclinic.com has a solid video.
