Kenmore 796.40311900 Clothes Washer LE Error Code

I have a Kenmore 796.40311900 upright Clothes Washer.  Of course, the moment my wife is out of town and I do a load it gets an LE error code.  I take off the back cover and realize that the Washer Rotor Assembly (4413ER1003B) splines are in bad shape and it appears to be slipping.  I did some research and realize that it could also be the Position Sensor (6501KW2002A).  I got a new Rotor Assembly and Sensor and put them both in.  It spins freely by hand and makes no noises, but when I start it up it makes a slapping/grinding noise like something is hitting and I get the LE error code again.

I look all around and can't figure it out.  So, I decide to get a new motor stator (4417EA1002K).  Again, I put it all together, its spins freely by hand but the moment it starts spinning it makes the noise like somethings hitting and I get the error code.

I feel like I replaced everything that could be causing the error code, but it still won't work.  Any ideas on what I'm missing?  Any help would be appreciated.

The wire harness from the position sensor to the connector on the frame is prone to wire breaking inside the insulation.
