Dear Moderator please disregard other post, i forgot to put model# in the title.. by mistake.

Hi, First off, I'm so glad I found this site by accident, I have a Bosch Dishwasher model# SHX68T55UC/09 and unfortunately it's out of warranty, so I'm trying to do the repair myself, like others in the past I've watched so many you tube video's, I called Bosch talked to several customer reps, told each one I talked to what was going on with the unit, so told it's the soap dispenser , I order one, install it, e-19 goes away, dishwasher worked perfectly for about month and 2 weeks, then same error code came back on dishwasher after a thunder storm, power went out, power came back on,dishwasher won't come on e-19 comes back on, so i contact Bosch, tell me it's code for dispenser again, I order another dispenser thinking problem solved, not , e-19 comes back on,so again i contact Bosch, but this time they tell me it's the circulation / heater pump, so this time i decide it's time to call  a Bosch authorized repair company to come do service on the machine, he wasn't here maybe 20 mins the most, after he looks at it, checks for voltage to pump, then checks to see if maybe pump was locked, any way I thought he would have brought a special computer to check what's going on with the dishwasher,he didn't even perform a customer service program on the machine, any way after he checks out the dishwasher he tells me it's a circulation / heater pump and to fix it he would have to order the part, total do repair would be $619.00 plus tax, we'll I thanked him paid the $100 service check fee and then removed dishwasher and thought I'd see if i might could fix it,I removed the circulation pump, ohm it out on the heater part it has 9.4 ohms and on motor contacts it's showing 15.4 , I thought hum , maybe the pump is fine, so here I am , I found the factory paper on the dishwasher that has wiring diagram, but wished I hadn't removed the machine without checking if it had voltage going to the pump, any way my question is what's the procedure to trouble shoot this dishwasher? far doing it right to really trace the problem and not just change a part? Any help would be very much appreciated, i took a electrical course in the early '90's, went 2 yrs and only liked 6 months finishing it, but my stupid self didn't finish it, because wife at the time complained that I wasn't the needing tech school she was! should have never listen to her.Any way enough about the past.. Again I would be so grateful for helping me out. I'm 61 yrs old, but I'm thinking very seriously about taking the course here.

Well after further investigating I found the problem, it's the main control panel , I removed it,took it apart and can see where it has burnt spot on the circuit board. I might could fix the circuit board by cleaning the solider of and re-soldering it, but I'm just going to order a new circuit board. I see where there was 15 views but no suggestions , more likely because I'm not a professional repair person or member of the program, but I'm seriously thinking about taking the full courses,I strongly feel that the repairman that checked out my unit, didn't take the time he should have by doing the so called 10 step procedure, he didn't even try to perform the customer program mode on the machine. Trust me I fully understand not looking into my dishwasher problem since I'm not a member of the program or a professional repair person, but by not even considering or one person try to help me,it makes me wonder if a non professional repair person could get help on this forum. Any way I can tell that the online school is a legit program and a later time,I might consider enrolling, like I saw in the video, I'd want to be someone who does the complete trouble shooting technique, not just a parts changer.. Stay safe and have a Blessed day..
