I have worked on many speed queens, but this has me stumped.  Runs correctly until the spin cycle.  At that point, the motor runs correctly but the belt is spinning on the frozen pulley of the transmission.  Already burned out two belts.  I replaced the belt, pump and tension assembly.

Do I have a bad transmission or bearings?  What is the next best thing to test?   I can manually turn the best to agitate, no problem.  When I turn the other way to spin, it will not.

Thank you!

is your brake releasing?

You also need to check the outer tub for obstructions. very possible.

That transmission is locked in spin, so a spin issue will have nothing to do with the trans. If the bearings arent loud, then they should move the tub. It has to be an obstruction or a brake issue.

it is possible also that the tub bearing rusted if if sat too long without use. try to turn tub manually . will only release one direction by hand, spin direction. you only have a few things that it can be. good luck
