Manufacturer: GE
Type of Appliance: Down-draft gas cooktop with fan in center not rise-up
Model Number: JGP990SEL1SS
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): yes

There is a thread on this mod#. It was said to search JGP* which I did. But there was no manual for this style down-draft gas cooktop. This one is like a J/A with the vent in the middle not a rise-up in the back. It has bad burner switches and is not real obvious how to access them. Burner switches are real expensive so if it is too hard cust. may buy a new one.

Thanks Boyd

Still no tear down. Diagnosis is easy 2 burners do not click and 2 do. Sorry I did not mention that.

Thanks Boyd

Did switch job yesterday. The tech sheet was just what I needed. I did cut and splice 2 of the wires because the ends were not real accessible, but that should be no problem.

Thanks very much
