Baumatic BDI633 dishwasher circulation pump

Hello,

My Baumatic BDI633 dishwasher has been having problems the past few weeks. I would turn it on, select the wash cycle, close the door and then it would take about 30 minutes before the washing cycle actually started. Dishes didn't seem to be quite as clean since that started. This last week the wash cycle never actually started. Upon closing the door the drain would start (I unhooked the drain hose and confirmed water was coming through), some amount of water would come through (confirmed when I opened the door at this point that there was now water down in the drain area) and then nothing would happen. About an hour after starting the click of the detergent door would open, so the cycle still thinks everything is going like normal.

Pulling out the washer and looking around I guessed it must be the circulation pump is dead. I have removed it and the capacitor it is connected to and have them out. What is the process of testing a pump (picture attached) that also has a capacitor? I have a multimeter. Is it possible to plug the pump into a wall plug (European plug) to test if it is running?

Thanks,

Luke

I took the pump and capacitor to a shop. They tested it and said it works fine. I put the dishwasher back together and it worked for the first whole cycle. The second time I tried it had the same problems like in my first post. I decided it must be the control board, so I ordered a new one and replaced it. Unfortunately it is still doing the exact same thing. Any other ideas of something I could try?
