I have a GE Dishwasher (2015-2016 new), model number GSD3300D35BB. It will start, then a few seconds later will stop. If you push the GE logo (middle of door, below latch) it will start again. I have looked to see if there is anything impeding the door closing properly. Everything seems to go in properly with nothing blocking. The latch latches fully. There are 5 button: Pots & Pans, Normal Wash, Hi Temp Wash, Heated Dry, Reset Options. Normal Wash is lit. I have tried pushing Reset Options as well as holding it in for 3 seconds. I rigged a pole to continuously press in where the GE logo is and it did a full cycle. I am thinking door/latch, something electronically is detecting a problem with the door, something else electronically or something I am not thinking of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not really familiar with these newer GE dishwashers but maybe someone else can tell you if I'm on the right track with this....

In my mind I recall seeing or reading a service bulletin for these somewhat newer generation GE dishwashers that had a problem with the door not contacting the switch correctly and some procedure to shim the door upward in some manner to take care of the door to switch alignment problem.

That's not this one.

This problem can be solved by looking at the door switches; if they look okay ant operate distinctly, Then I bend the two little tabs on the little metal activator out so they operate the switch better. This is the part I bend outward.
