Samsung Washer Issues During Spin Cycle (Spider Replacement?)

Recommended Posts

Hi, I recently started having problems with my Samsung WF431ABP/XAA 02 washer.  During the spin cycle it starts shaking while making a loud knocking noise.  The only time it doesn't is if I use the delicate cycle.

I took it apart to find the spider arm cracked.  I hope that is the only issue.

I am trying to find a replacement but I can't find the exact model number (DC97-06986A).  It looks pretty similar though so I was wondering if there is a way to determine compatibility.

Used samsungparts.com for version 2 and came up with dc97-16509b. May want to go there yourself to find part number

Thanks.  Yeah, I don't know where I got that model number from.

Is there any cross-compatibility or are they that specific?

Have no idea about compatibility between model. Used correct model number with version is safe.
