Hello all! Glad I found this place! So just real quick, I am a HVAC Service Tech, so that makes me an Appliance Repair Tech right :kopkrab: Lol but no in all seriousness I would rather turn to some pros who been there before I get digging too deep. So its a samsung wa40j3000aw/a2 top load. A while back I had the same issue, doesn't want to spin. I found a wire broken at the capacitor, turns out this became a well known issue. It happened to me several times till I extended the wire a little more. Well just yesterday I get hit with the double whammy. Dryer goes and washer. Dryer I found my limit bad, order a kit that comes with the element as well, its due for it. The washer though, I find all wiring looking intact. Test the cap, 45mfd is the rating, I'm seeing 45.81mfd. After some searching I find a test mode. When in test I get Cold LED blinking only. Looked at the possible issues, I'm down to the Main PBA. Just seeing if anyone else had some recommendations.

I’m having the same trouble. We have repaired the wire 5 times now and it still keeps coming off...really hard to tell if it’s burning off or what..but the connector stays hooked to the cap with no burn marks but wire clearly comes off...super weird to me. I know loose connections can cause resistance which will cause heating and burning. Or to small of conductor for amperage also..I’m at a loss here. 🤷‍♂️
