Snapped the latch on a Whirlpool dryer "WED7500VW".  Looking for advice how to repair or is it so delicate/complicated that I should hire a technician?

Looks like the latch is part of the door handle assembly from the exploded views online. Door would have to be taken apart to replace more than likely. If your mechcanically and have patience it should be no problems. Slow and steady, take pictures if needed.  Kind of expensive assemby.

I was able to find the replacement part on Ebay for $17 without having to buy the whole handle assembly.  Now I'm hoping to find a tutorial on how to dismantle the door.  Suggestions?
