Oven stopped, give me your best guess ???

Range  stopped working and started tripping the breaker every half hour. Didnt make any difference if the range was on or off . 220 coming out of the breaker, but only 120 going to the top and bottom coils. What do you think ??   Thanks

A model number needed to look up the schematic and help you better. Also, there could be a Service Bulletin on your specific issue that needs to be addressed.

You are losing one 120V leg, so you need to trace it down the stream starting from the wall outlet. It could be a cut, loose, or chewed by rats wire hanging somewhere.
