LG LDT9965BD not powering on

Picked up an open box lg dishwasher at my local big box stores at a pretty hefty discount several months ago, and now I know why. When I plug the unit in it makes a musical tone sound. Then nothing happens, pushing the power button doesn't turn on the display or make it function. After about 10 minutes it was chime a couple more times and that is about it. I opened the door panel to check the board and the red light is lit up when it is plugged in. I also tried removing the switch panel and pressing the buttons and nothing. I am stumped at this point, any ideas?

If it is less than a year old it should be under manufactures warranty. If no warranty, no reponse from the key board check the connect between the boards and the door switches.
