Maytag MZD2665HES no power on L and N terminals

Had some trouble with my icemaker  dispenser jamming up which turned out to be the ice forming tray leaking into the dispenser bucket.  It was old so got a replacement icemaker.  Was careful to get a real OEM unit (as far as I can tell at least, there seemed to be a lot of "knock offs") .  The new unit ran one cycle making ice and then stopped working.  Testing with a voltmeter I have no voltage between the L and N terminals.  The ejector blade appears to be in the normal rest position of about 1:30.

I did some more reading and checking...  Pulled the unit and checked the harness continuity.  All the wires show connection end to end.  Also read that the light switch must be pressed in for 120V at L to N.  With the switch depressed I get 120V.

Next would be temperature the freezer should be around 0 deg f. Ice maker has a bi-metal that closes at 15 deg f and start the harvest cycle and turns on heater so the  cubes release from mould.

I jumped the terminals for a cycle last night and it ran a cycle.  This morning there are a couple batches of ice in the bucket.  Maybe was a loose connector pin although they all looked good.

Don't think temp was the issue but I only measured it earlier at 2F.
