Whirlpool Dryer LEQ9030pQ1 not advancing in Auto Dry and not starting in Timed Dry

My Whirlpool Dryer LER4634pq0 is not advancing on the Auto Dry high heat cycle after I’ve checked everything. At first it was several problems due to a bad timer and heating element. I replaced both. My multimeter now shows continuity on every fuse and switch accessible on the back of the dryer, including the timer motor In the panel. Timed dry works, as does Auto Dry low heat. But not Auto Dry high heat; the heating element never turns off on that setting. I also confirmed the cycling thermostat turns off when exposed to heat over its 155-degree limit, as it should. What am I missing?

A Whirlpool Dryer LEQ9030pQ1 I’m working on is not advancing in Auto Dry and not starting in Timed Dry. It only advances in the Fluff cycle. It had a bad heating element, which I just replaced. But now the heating element won’t shut off in the Auto Dry cycle when I start the dryer, so the timer won’t advance. Also, when I turn it to the Timed Dry, it won’t start - the buzzer signal just goes off when I press the start button and stops when I take my hand away. I’ve already tested every fuse accessible from the back of the dryer as well as the control panel with a multimeter. All show continuity, including the timer motor. I even checked the connections inside the timer and confirmed no welded parts or grimy connections. And I’ve been testing the dryer without it’s being connected to a vent hose, so that’s not the issue either. What am I missing?
