Samsung RF23HCEDTSR - Flashing Display - Nothing works!

Hi Everyone --

Would greatly appreciate any input as we are really in a bind with a newborn at home and a lot of milk in the fridge!

Our ~4 year old Samsung randomly began flashing everything on its display every 2 seconds. We've unplugged the appliance, waited 15 minutes and plugged it back in -- same issue.

I've tried to hold FREEZER + FRIDGE, nothing. Freezer + FRIDGE + Alarm, nothing. The only chime I can get is when I hold Freezer/Alarm but again, just a chime..

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

On the main board check voltages as follows.  Power into main board from powersupply board at CN00 12 vdc pin 2 to dc grd pin 4 and 5 vdc pin 6 to dc grd pin 4. Next is CN50 12 vdc pin 3 to dc grd pin5 and  5vdc pin4 to dc grd pin5. Pins 1 and 2 are transmit and recieve and should have some kind of dc voltage to dc grd pin5.  If something is missing unplug refrig and connector CN50, reconnect ac power and recheck voltages. If still missing possible main board issue. If these voltages check good you'll have to check at top of door , the wire are the same color as the main board. If missing a voltage unplug ac power, disconnect both connectors and ohm out wires from top of door to main board.  If voltages are good you'll need to check voltages at the display board. Follow the same procedure as before, if voltages are good  at the display board it is likely a bad display board. Would recommend double checking the resistance of wires between display board connector and top of door before condemning display board.  The unknown items are the recieve and transmit signal voltages they are not given in the service manual.
