You'll need to check the compressor windings with a multimeter for resistances. Does the compressor try to start at all?

Not sure what tools you have but you will need a live meter and a multimeter,  are you hearing any clicks every few minutes?

Not sure if I am posting correctly. We have a Kenmore 596.75509400. It is clicking intermittently. At times the freezer has gotten above 25 degrees. When we unplug it for a reset for an hour or longer it seems to work fine for a few days them starts clicking more often as time passes. We are unable to get an overload relay part because of supply constraints. We are wondering if it is possible it is the overload relay switch. We had someone say that normally when the switch goes bad the compressor just will not come on. Our compressor does come on and purrs like a kitten most of the time. We put a cheap part from Amazon on and it made the clicking worse so put original relay back on. The fridge is cooling fine. The ice maker is working normally as well.
