Kenmore washer 11026942503 agitates and pumps but does not spin.

Good day everyone, I have been trying to figure out why my washer is making a loud racket and does not spin. Have replaced the clutch and the motor coupling, and checked the drive block. I can make the washer agitate just fine, then when it goes to spin the clutch turns a little but then the clutch stops and it makes the racket. Has anyone had an experience like this, or has an idea of what it could be?

I did take it apart several times and went thru it just to make sure I was installing everything correctly, but its still doing it.

I did take a video of it, not sure if this is going to work or not but here is a link to it. https://photos.app.goo.gl/QABCnngCkgCvpPP18

I know its a fairly old washer, but if it can be fixed for a lot cheaper than a new one I would like to go that route.

Thank you!

I'm going to replace the brake assembly once and see if that takes care of it.

Don't see how the brakes would cause that,  is there any oil leaking under the gear case?  I would think its a bad clutch or bad gear caae,  since you say you already replaced clutch assuming you did it right i would  think  you need a new gear case

Transmission is stuck in neutral drain. After agitate the first time in "spin" the transmission is in neutral. The timer will pause the motor and the fryweight should on engage with a clunk sound. As the motr starts again the clutch housing will spin releasing the brake and the basket will spin. If needed you can force the pause by lefting the lid to kill power to the motor.

Decouple and check if both sides are free to rotate by hand. To me it looks like a bearing problem.

It's not the drive coupler if it agitates!!!!

@Aredzfan If you have the cabinet off and the lid switch bypassed so that you can run it with the cabinet off and you see the clutch bell try to turn just a little, carefully reach in and push the clutch bell to see if it will turn by hand and try to turn a little again.

From your description of seeing the clutch bell move just a little and the bad loud noise you have a stripped out spin gear in the transmission.
