LG WM3575CW Washer: LE Error: which replacement part? Hall sensor alone or entire stator assembly?

Hello new friends.

Like many out there, my LG washer threw an LE error recently. I read the articles and learned that most likely I needed a new hall sensor and that the part # should be 6501KW2002A. I purchased one here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078GJFXKH/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza

I installed it and it didn't work: I still get the LE error.

So I attempted a more fine-grained search for a  hall sensor that will work with my washer. After looking at RepairClinic, AppliancePartsPros, SearsPartsDirect, and several other sites, I have yet to find a hall sensor that, according to those sites' compatibility checker tools, will work with my washer.

My question 1: is there a hall sensor out there that will work with this washer? if I did in fact buy the wrong one, and there's a right one out there will fix the washer, that seems to be the cheapest and easiest fix.

But there's more. Searching RepairClinic, it appears that there is a compatible sensor, but it's attached to the entire stator assembly and the whole thing is selling for $170 (https://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Stator-Assembly/4417EA1002Y/2649230). I'm fine paying that (still cheaper than a repair call) but for the money I wanted to be absolutely sure it's the right part. So I fired up the chat function and chatted with Diana, who was very nice. She introduced a wrinkle: apparently there's a WM3575CW/00 and a WM3575CW/01. The /01 model has a different, less expensive stator assembly (https://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Stator-Assembly/AJB73816004/4117201). But my product label doesn't have a slash and either a 00 or 01 after the model number.

My question 2: can I assume that if my model number doesn't have the /01, then it's the /00 model and the 4417EA1002Y stator is correct?

My question 3: is there something else I'm missing? (likeliest answer is yes)

Thanks!

In the end, it was Question 3.

Further reading led me to some comments from folks that found broken wires in the wire harness. So I thought I might go back in and have a look. I opened up the back of the machine again... and found that I had somehow connected the wire harness upside down! So I fixed that, put everything back together, and it seems to work! Ran a test mode cycle and two laundry loads with no LE code.

So there you have it: a random Amazon part plus not messing up equals a fixed washer.
