There is a service bulletin for overfilling of the ice maker production range 6/20 to 10/20. They recommend changing filter case assembly DA97-21323A. If you have this issue and less than a year old it should be under warranty.

@LezBeAwnest did the part solve the overfilling issue?

Also can someone tell me if there is an icemaker in refrigerator I dnt see one on parts lists and diagrams.

I have this call next week and am preparing to fix what seems to be an overfilling issue.

@Vance R do you happen to have that service bulletin? Or remember what it said to do in addition to changing filter case assembly.

Thanks. I never checked back here, my mistake and now it will cost me. Crack in ice maker mold was not only issue. Filter case assembly still needs to be changed.

Hi, is there a way to adjust the fill. B/c the fridge I'm working on is underfilling leaving the ends of the tray empty.  Water valve opens for about 10seconds and water enters the tray, leaving the opposite ends empty without water.  Do you think the filter housing replacement will fix this issue. Also, the unit is a 6/2021 manufactured date.
