Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher PF code when power is not lost, Model FGHD 2465 NF1A

This is a six-year-old dishwasher (Frigidaire Gallery Model FGHD 2465 NF1A)  that otherwise performs nicely.  About 10-20% of the time we use it, the cycle stops at some random point and displays the "PF" code (Power Failure).  This occurs when the power is not lost anywhere in the house.  We have to either start another wash cycle or a rinse cycle, depending on how far it got before it crashed.   It is an intermittent problem and will probably not occur if we invite an appliance repair person to the house, as these things go.  Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this or identify the problem would be appreciated.

Check the junction box where the house wiring connects to the dishwasher.

Loose connections made by the installer are common.

Thanks for the tip, Terry.  I killed the circuit and took that junction box off (Torx head) but I didn't see or feel anything obviously loose, just crammed in with two twist-on connectors.  I checked all other wire harnesses to make sure they were snug.  I'll see if the PF returns in the next week or two, then maybe go back in to the junction box and tape the live wires off from the exposed ground wires in case something is rubbing together that I couldn't see.

check to see if the dishwasher is on its own circuit,  had  a frigid d/w throwing the" P.F." code ..A washing machine was on the same circuit, a power drop when the washer started a cycle...

The only reason I mentioned it is that "power failure" that comes right back usually is a power failure.

If it was an actual electronics failure, I wouldn't expect it to start right up again normally. Not sure where you should look, but I'd still suspect a problem with the electricity.

I don't know if this will help or not, but I found a loose fuse on the power control board that was causing intermittent PF codes. There is a small glass tube type fuse on the board. It looked like the steam from the drying cycle had corroded the metal tabs that hold the fuse and the fuse was just rattling around under the small plastic cover.
